early friday..

had conference call on friday morning at 730am so was granted early dismissal at 430pm! hee.. as dear dear was on half day leave to go.. we met at about 5pm at my work place.. as my office is at alexandra road which is near to vivo.. we head to vivo city!!

it was rather early and there wasnt a crowd.. wow! just love such timings.. no long queues at restaurants.. no many people squeezing.. shops were empty with few customers.. we could practically do anything..

since there was no queue, we decide to have our dinner early.. well, i chose the place and admit that i made the wrong choice.. earle swensens.. expensive food, lousy food but great ambience.. but the ambience is somehow similar if we choose another restaurant at vivo since they shared the same view! haha.. regretted! then when we head to the walk area at level 4, we realised there is marche! and we should have dine at marche instead.. because everytime we are there, there is always a long queue at marche.. so we always never have a chance to dine at marche vivo..

doh.. this is the nice view i was refering to.. thought construction was taking place but there is still some nice water view.. makes me feel relaxed knowing work is piling up in office..

as i had a late lunch, i opt for something light.. but trust me, the sausage isnt that great.. i didnt finish it..

my colleagues muffins

my colleague baked yummy fruity muffins yesterday.. but they were huge!! she made cranberry, banana and blueberry.. looks not bad.. but it was quite sweet for my tooth though..

over the weekend, i bought 2 psp.. one is brother's, one is crystal.. the other is dear dear.. now they can play DJ max!! haha..

should i wear kua?

today gen was telling me that she told lian to wear kua for photo taking because this is like the only one time you get to wear.. haha.. so now was thinking.. i told the coordinator that i didnt want to wear kua even on actual day! haha.. now it sets me thinking.

asked dad just now, but he said cantonese wear kua..

hmm.. maybe should consider to wear on my actual day.. any comments, my dear families?

aldo shoes!

went to orchard just to get my aldo shoes as promised.. hee.. dear dear got a pair of pedro.. though is a bit pricey but the design is not bad.. our 1st pair of so expensive shoes! haha..

after the gown selection, i decided i had to get very high heels as the gowns looked so long!! so ta-daa.. my wedding shoes are 4 inches high!! haha.. because dear dear is very tall so it doesnt matter how high my shoes are.. hee.. but that also means we have to walk really slowly.. hee..

our feast after the hard work!

was telling alfred that i cant feast with them if after my gown selection, i cant find a good gown.. but hee.. i looked so great almost in any piece so i ate well! hee..

we spent rm160 for a great meal.. chilli crab with mantou, hotplate toufu, sausage with egg, hotplate with deer meat, kangkong, you tiao with salad sauce, cereal crayfish.. mum bought some kuek also.. very cheap & nice... i love it!!

gown selection for photo taking..

went for gown selection yesterday which is also a saturday.. mummy, b sis & alfred & dear dear went with me for my gown selection..

my mummy cant stayput.. she insisted on walking around.. so b sis & alfred went with her to see see after i tried a few wedding gowns.. but i must say that i tried the very nice ones when they were not around.. & then, i was left to decide by myself & dear dear..

they did not allow me to take photographs at all.. these snaps are taken secretly! hmm.. i kept whining to the lady that those gowns are so beautiful & i cant even take a shot..

i shortlisted so many wedding gowns and when i was told to select.. i cant recall how i look in them! but i have heard many stories that you must have the feeling of glam & all.. but as i tried on each piece, i think it just looks so good! finally i selected 2 indoor wedding gowns, 1 with halter frills and the other pom pom long train.. should look good in phototaking.. so i selected it.. they are cream colored & not white color..

i chose another tube white with silver glitters on the top as my outdoor gown.. quite figure hugging & nice!!

i chose 3 evening gowns.. wanted to choose a short cute gown but the evening gowns were too nice to resist.. so i forgo the idea to have a short one.. i have a baby blue, white with pink and yellow evening gown! nice!!

i tried another tube baby blue gown.. very simple.. & very nice but the lady said this should look good on actual day and not on photo taking so didnt choose that.. i tried another 2 green gowns.. very nice!! but i still prefer the yellow and the white with pink gown..

eski bar @ boat quay

after our dinner, we head to boat quay.. it was still very early.. 9plus.. so the crowd wasnt really there yet.. we walked the whole street & finally decided to go eski bar..

that was also the 1st few place we went to when we dated.. dear dear had his fave edinger & i had margarita..

we just sat down.. enjoy the drinks, the company.. we didnt talk much also.. for i think dear dear is really sad.. well, hope he feels better soon..

dear dear was not too happy on friday.. so we went in search for happy food.. decide to eat at changing appetite since the queue wasnt too long.. within 10 minutes we got our seats! hee..

sorry the the late post.. we celebrated her birthday last weekend.. been busy and tired after work so haven been blogging! but hope u had a great birthday!!

in wedding mood..

just came back from dear dear's poly classmate wedding.. it was held at the same place as my poly classmate which i attended last may!

other people were talking away on honeymoon destination etc.. but for me.. just started my new job.. just want everything to go smoothly.. dear dear will graduate in may 09.. so told him we plan our honeymoon then.. best! honeymoon + graduation celebration trip!!! though there are many many places i would love to go, but anywhere will be great as long as dear dear is by my side... tokyo (experience the culture & get kate spade), seoul (bbq food, ginseng chicken soup), LA (coach, kenneth cole, victoria secrets.. hee..) Spain (mango) Italy, German (LV trivoli or palermo or both!!!), australia (see koala bear, kangeroos, fairy penguins, pluck strawberries, apples, visit wineries think it would be really fun!!!) Taipei (to enjoy good food & great buys) Beijing (the forbidden city, i would so much love to visit it!!)

ok.. im dreaming.. back to reality.. shall go shop for wedding shoes.. saw a pair of silver aldo shoes but the heels is really high and sleek.. hmm.. considering.. dear dear also want aldo shoes.. mayb we get it next week.. hee..

thanks dad for getting the cake.. but bro was much into his new toy! all of us shared an electric guitar for him.. he simply loved it! yesterday he told me, he played till he had blisters but at night i can hear him playing away.. oh yes, the noise was unbearable because is not piano.. not graceful.. but electric guitar and the songs he listen rocks loh.. so can u imagine our ears??? haha..

though he made a pact to stop playing after 10pm.. i could hear him playing at even 11pm!! he just loves it.. & since the rest didnt complain.. we didnt scold him either.. it is his passion.. he just enjoys it.. should have taken a pic of the electric guitar to post it online since i guess the rest of the sponsors didnt get to see the actual thing! haha..


when we opened up the box, was quite surprised to see a pinkie strawberry cake.. my dad said he called my brother to ask him what flavour he wants.. we were all surprised that brother likes strawberry!

younger sis came back yesterday after her 2 weeks holiday in Germany.. it must really be fun & relaxing.. she spent 3 days at Berlin & bought the cookie cutters for me.. must start searching for gingerbread man recipes so can put the cookie cutter into good use.. hee. thanks! i love it! can you tell from the picture that the traffic light man is wearing caps! do not belittle traffic lights, in every country, there is some variations.. i remember in taiwan, the traffic light man will start walking faster and faster till it is running when the time is shorten.. funny!

besides the cookie cutters, she got me a make up set with many assorted colours with bling bling effect.. hee.. yes, its glitters.. she got dear dear a nice box of liquor chocolates..

zh told me on thursday that after kendy & i left.. nobody finds recipes in office & discuss what to make.. especially after exams, now she has more time.. hee.. i miss those times too..to search & search & print all of them! hee.. my current co has password & tracking system for printing of colour printing.. $0.15 per piece so is being monitored..:( thankfully, i have printed all those recipes i wanted before i left! hee.. i cant imagine printing without color, then i would not be able to see a sample of the end product.. hmm... dear dear got a new color printer, thanks dear dear in advance for printing! hee

my cinnamon rolls, yes mummy kendy, im stubborn.. i used the same old recipe which explains the same results! haha.. where did you get your last recipe? you never share.. can find for me? hee.. wonder if is my tiring hand because i didnt mix it well enough and the texture is hard! going to throw it away...

this morning, dear dear went reservist again.. i woke up at 6am to prepare breakfast & pack pasta for him.. dear dear bought the ingredients for me yesterday. when you get a man to do grocery shopping, it is very interesting! hee..

afternoon went to buy a packet of hershey's choco chips to make these choco chips cookies.. it took me less than 2 hours to make 2 recipes of these.. very easy & the baking time is about 10-15 mins.. fast!! i have 4 bottles of choco chips at home now! i have down 6 cookies.. is really yummy!!

it is my 2nd week into my new job.. getting to know more about the interesting people there.. waiting for my manager to come back to shift to another seat so that i have my own place.. guess i need to wait for another week because he has to shift and anohter colleague has to shift to get my seat.. hmm...:(

received my namecard today.. it has been sometime i haven had a namecard.. i gave dear dear my 1st namecard! haha..

have already list down my task lists! gosh!! its quite a lot.. b sis asked me how is my new job.. i said ok so far so good but busy... she replied.. work that is busy then can be considered as work.. haha.. i believe more tasks will be added next week because another manager is coming back next week..

entering into a new field, engineering which i have no relevant knowledge before is pretty boring i should say.. i was doing some catalog thingy and brainstorming edm last week with my colleague.. but am totally clueless about the industry and what their customer expects! haha.. hopefully, next week can have a discussion with my personal adviser there for more insight! haha.. she has been extremely busy last week but am happy that i get to do marketing again and best there's someone i know to guide me along.. hee.. thanks to that someone.. we get to have more gossips!! wonder if is good or bad! haha..

so looking forward to a great weekend.. let my weekends be long long!!

i miss going to the washroom with someone else.. miss teasing the girls reminding them to drink more water and go washroom together.. :(

i walked back to take the shuttle bus which i always took after 530.. just feel so sad.. just miss the feeling of walking very fast with yt.. squeeze the crowded train together.. :(

its not that my current colleagues take advantage of me or anything.. no worries.. no one bully me but no more friends in a working environment liao.. :(

my weekend little indulge!

yesterday dear dear finish his exams.. finally our weekend more relaxed.. but must start looking around for good mattress and nice bedframes to prepare for the big thing.. hee..

but 1st things 1st, i need more nice work clothes.. haven been wearing nice work clothes since my last job in ms.. everyday also wear almost the same.. didnt want to bother dressing up since always in jacket! haha..

we went j8 today and had a little teabreak at haagen dazs.. changed the fruity flavours to rum & raisin and tiramisu.. hee.. nice!

tuesday was my last day with ms.. very sad to leave the comfort zone.. going to work knowing what to do.. and to do if i want to & if i do not want to.. i can kiv.. he he.. that's the wrong working attitude i know.. okok.. but anyway has left the place..

i will miss the place.. because i have made great colleagues & friends there.. my superior was not bad too.. unlike one of my nightmares in other companies.. im quite sad to leave the place actually.. but who will miss an opportunity to learn & have a higher paycheck? hmm..

monday which was a public holiday, met the girls for a catch up session at amk hub, new york new york.. the girls think i have it healthy while the rest were having meats or pasta.. but girls, they were too generous with the dressing.. so it is not that healthy afterall! hah

but it taste great! i always enjoyed salads!

today is dear dear's friend birthday.. we went to kbox @ cine.. wow!! the people are really friendly & nice.. usually other oulets only allow us to sing till the time is up.. but when our time is up, we were still allowed to sing.. but i guess we were rather tired & hungry.. well at least for me & dear dear.. haha.. so we ended the session.. we even had to ask for the bill.. people who freqent will know that usually before your time is up, they will ask if you want to purchase additional hours or they will send the bill to the room..

i still miss k with sista & dear dear.. usually we have more fun! hah...

after which we proceeded to tao restaurant for dinner.. well, it's my 1st time there.. hee.. enjoyed the food! great!!

after next week will be leaving ms.. mummy kendy has left ms.. yesterday was her last day.. no more blogging in office, searching recipes, doing lame things in office together, no more going off on the very dot to catch the shuttle bus, no more tea break time at "airport", no more going to blk a at 3pm for half boiled eggs bread and tea, no more working very routinely knowing what to expect everyday.. no more.. :(
