Dear dear thai trip..

dear dear went bangkok from mon to wed.. poor dear dear.. he has to do his tma overseas.. he carried with him a few reference books for the trip.. if it is marketing related, then i will be able to help.. but this is a financial paper.. i cant..

we have 1 wedding to run on saturday and a chalet follow by that because ali is getting rom on saturday.. congrats ali family! keke.. just got to know kendy mummy also have chalet at coasta sands! so qiao! maybe can go visit them after that.. but hor, our attire wont be right because we came straight from wedding.. hee..

so miss blogging n baking..

it has been so long since my last blog entry.. well, obviously i did not mia aka missing in action.. but was busy with alot of stuff..

17th feb was a long day for me.. from morning 830 am to night 930pm in school.. we had about 30 mins of lunch and dinner for each break.. erm.. more time for dinner.. at night the tma questions was released and we had 10 days to complete it.. with my housing matters and tma to complete.. i had simply no time to even blog.. much less bake..

oh.. i have so many recipes that i want to try.. peach muffins, mousse cakes, cheese cakes, marshmallow cakes.. well, i have all the ingredients ready at home.. waiting for me to start.. hee..
but i havent bought my baking tins for making mousse cakes.. went phoon huat over the weekend to buy those baking tins, but they are very expensive.. the big one for making the usual 1kg cake is about 20 bucks, the small ones which is usually sold in slices is about 4 to 8 bucks and i need 5 to complete the recipe.. :( i have to search for a cheaper alternative.. kendy told me to use cans, but i dont want to.. :( didnt want to come out from phoon huat empty handed so i bought 2 packets of flour.. hee.. o yes, the flour price has increased now i have all types of flour, top flour, self-raising flour. plain flour, cake flour.. hee.. i must start baking now to use up the flour..

then, dear dear went overseas from mon to wed this week.. but praise The Lord for the technological advancement, we were able to communicate overseas through videocall daily.. while doing assignments together in different countries, we can still see and talk to each other.. when all we have to pay is the wireless internet bills and of course the electricity bills.. hee..

that's all for the updates! o yes, it's civic princess wedding this saturday.. but i have lessons in the morning which means i cant go over in the morning to kaypo.. sighz.. nevertheless will be there in the evening early to witness her solemisation.. congrats sista! here's wishing you a blissful marriage! you will definitely be the prettiest bride! sista also told me that i will be sitting with my ex-colleagues.. that's nice.. can catch up with them.. i must say that, jj has been the best place and i had a great time with them guys! my 1st time being in an mnc environment having most colleagues about the same age and the best was the taiwan trip! on the other hand, am quite worried the questions about my future.. so where are you now? what are your plans after you graduate? am worried because i have NO PLANS.. kind of paisay right.. you left your previous company but no results?? haha.. happy that dear dear is going with me, so i guess they will bombard him with more questions.. hee..

this is a very happening week in office.. we had the lions, today we had the lo hei..

my valentine's date!

for the past few days, dear dear is doing auditing on his suppliers.. miss him so much.. because when he reach home is already so late and he usually doze off during the conversations because he overworked in the day.. so did not really talk to him much the past few days..

finally today, we met up for valentines day dinner.. that is my dear dear, no matter how busy he is, he always makes an effort to spend time with me.. thank you dear dear!

it was so crowded at jurong point.. everywhere is full! we ended having our all time favourite lai lai.. chicken rice and wanton noodles.. haha.. though it is totally unromantic and unglam.. we got our seats pretty fast and had yummylicious food..

we exchanged cards and open our pressies.. how thoughtful of dear dear.. on the 2nd day of cny, i threw a tantrum because i didnt buy clothes for cny.. i only bought a dress to wear on the 1st day.. and another top.. so he got a top and a skirt for me.. i love it!

happenings in office on vday!

what a lovely valentines' day! after i distributed my cuppies.. my japanese colleague gave out brownies and roses to everyone in the team.. i had a rose and some others had the brownies.. all wrapped up nicely.. how sweet of her!

then the lion dance troupe was here to celebrate the lunar new year! i am usually not fond of them because they looked kinda scary! but since everyone is watching it, i went out to take a look as well..

the "lions" threw sweets at us.. supposedly to catch but no one catch so the "lion" threw a sweet at me.. i thought what?! i siam.. then my colleague told me i am supposed to "hope" the sweet!

to think i am a chinese and i do not know that i have to "hope" the sweet.. the lion dancer may be wondering to himself why i didnt catch the sweet.. felt so bad because it is like a singer singing without any appaulse.. hee.. anyway, i have learnt. next time i will catch the sweets..

my valentine's day bake..

well, after yesterday blog, i made chocolate marshmallow cola muffins for dear dear and colleagues.. happy valentine's day! feedback gotten back is not that positive though.. i must have overmix the batter that is why the muffin is a little hard.. packed those tiny muffins into a nice container for dear dear..

dear dear is still doing audit today.. i guess he must be very tired.. started his day early meeting his suppliers at 8am and had dinner till 10pm.. today also audit.. but is in sg.. hee.. he called me just now to tell me he may have to audit late so he will meet me at boon lay..

yesterday i thought he will be too tired to read my blog but i guess he read it.. because he kept asking me what i was doing yesterday when i reached home.. hehe... thank God that i didnt post the flavour up.. else it will no longer be a suspense anymore..

tomorrow is valentine's day.. dear dear is away in malaysia auditing his suppliers.. so he will definitely not see my post today..

am planning to bake something special for him to celebrate valentines day..

wanted to bake a mousse or cheese cake for dear dear.. since this is my 1st attempt at baking it.. i figured it as a surprise for him, however, it is not easy to transport the cake to office and later to town again..

after a whole day in office searching for recipes, i have thus decided to bake some nice muffins for him.. the flavour of the muffin is a suspense!

hee.. dear dear, by the time u read this blog post, i guess those yummy little things have already filled your stomach.. well, hope i can get back in time to make something sweet for him..

cny passed by like a breeze.. it's time to put my thinking caps on for school and work again.. life's great if everyday is a holiday! haha.. dreaming again..

well, collected my keys finally on new year eve's.. listening to mum to wait for the "auspicious date" to open my doors.. cant wait! over at hdb, there were so many, really alot of forms to sign and sign.. $$ to pay and pay.. though mostly is "sponsored" by cpf.. some have to be contributed in cash.. conservancy charges (well known as clear rubbish $$ but hdb officer corrected us and told us that it is town council fees for washing the staircase etc.. which means we can complain if it is not clean enough or if we noticed that the area is dirty because we paid for it! haha)

hey hey. it is every month through giro loh.. no joke on the 15th of every month.. because our flat is also bigger than others, we have to pay $80++ a month loh.. but nevertheless, dear dear and i are very happy to become proud owners of our new hdb flat..

cant wait! today is the so called "auspicious" day to open the doors! hee.. finally! but dear dear has lessons tonight so will go with mum and dad.. invited bro and b sis to come along.. wonder if they want to come.. bty, my uncle's niece also looking for flats.. b sis also.. the supply is too little for the demand..

cant wait for v-day.. this time, really bought a very small but very meaning pressie for dear dear.. hope he likes it! wonder if he needs to go overseas for audit.. if he does, then we have to do a post-celebration... hmm..

have not been blogging as it is a really busy pre-chinese new year for me.. been baking pineapple tarts for sale.. not alot in terms of quantity but because im the only one baking and i have to work.. it has been keeping me busy.. hee..
