happy valentine's day!!

it's valentine's day!! Invited mingli sis and b sis over to my house for dinner since im intending to cook..

in the morning, woke up to make wanton for the soup tonight.. after which, i baked a chocolate brownie for dessert tonight.. naughty me, i mms sista after the brownie is done to whet her appetite.. hee..

then i went to clean the chicken.. as it is my 1st time cleaning the inner of the chicken.. i was scared.. i told dear dear to stay in the kitchen to give me moral support while i cleaned it.. next, got dear dear to chop off the chicken's head.. scaredy cat sia.. haha.. i saw dear dear so cool chop off the head, i proceeded to chop off the feet to prepare the emperor's chicken.. nice!!

next, i deep fried the doufu to prepare claypot doufu.. i used corn flour to coat the doufu before i fried it.. very satisfied with the results.. my 1st time deep frying it!! hee..

next, i steamed some prawns.. for the convenience of my guests, i peeled off the skin and the dirt away leaving only the head..

i boiled soup with pork ribs, corn and carrot.. very tasty!!

in the evening, sis brought her lovely baby here.. with baby it is really "mafan".. they brought along a big bag, barang barang and a baby chair along..

while mummy sis is preparing her baby's food, i took out the camera to snap some pictures.. baby can recognise the camera and pause for us to take picture.. she is only 7 months old and can recognise the camera.. just like her mummy, she trained her to smile in front of the camera.. hee..

after baby's dinner, it's time for us to have dinner.. no time to snap photos during the dinner and the dessert.. they had brownie with ice cream.. but also didnt snap picture.. hee..

thanks both sisters for coming to celebrate valentine's day at my house.. hope you enjoyed the simple dinner.. thanks sis for bringing your princess over for dinner.. thanks alfred for helping me clean the stove..

oh yes, i gotten feedback just now from sista.. in fact, initially was abit worried.. abit like bu zhi liang li to invite sis for dinner since they have had home cooked food from her mum & mummy-in-law all the time.. & i think my culinary skills is far fetched in comparison.. but she said it's not so bad.. thanks sis!! hope you enjoyed the valentine's day too!!
