thank you for your blessing our dear mummies and daddies

wanted to go orchard isetan to get some gifts for our parents on saturday but dear dear said orchard will be v.crowded so we went tampines mall to shop for gifts..

isetan was having a sale and i got a le range top and a pair of shoes.. bought dear dear a shirt as an rom gift.. dear dear, where's mine? hee..

finally, we settled for very beautiful towels at aussino for our parents.. when i gave them today, both mums wanted to return to us because they find it too beautiful for themselves and tell us to use to keep it for our own use.. but no, its a little something to tell them we are happy and to share the joy with them..

rom celebration at night..

as andy cant get time off work to come to our rom, we had dinner together at sakae sushi at marina square with his gf..

it is a long time since we ate sakae.. their menu have changed.. prices also.. but good food, happy mood, what else to ask for.. hee..

while walking to boat quat, nicole, his gf, took pictures of us..

they had to order vodka ribena because i dont drink beer.. cheers!!

some shots taken at the pub.. thanks kash, for reminding dear dear in the morning with an sms, "no more mei meis for you brother" hee.. i find the sms rather sweet.. i mean for a guy to sms another guy.. and O yes, he applied 2 days of leave for our rom.. guess what?! he mistaken the date and took 28 nov and had to re-apply 28 dec to come!

mr and mrs yeo

this is going to be the longest blog post with the most photos and least words.. i have been editing the photos since 12am and is already 4am now..

i would like to give credits for the 1st 5 photos to my aunt.. she designed it specially for me created beautifully into an album.. special thanks to my aunt who rushed out the album and pass it to me 2 days after my rom, placing all her effort in decorating the album.. it is lovely.. i will bring around to show my friends and colleagues soon..

28 dec 07 marks the day we became husband and wife in the eyes of the singapore govt.. trying hard to convince dear dear not to have a customary wedding.. because i find the after marriage life is more important than anything else.. but till then, we will have one sometime later..

thanks dear dear for always taking such good care of me, loving me and willing to take a further step of our love into the next level.. i love you!

special thanks to our family members and friends who turned up despite it being a friday afternoon, having to apply for leave, some rushing down to jurong to attend our rom.. we appreciate your generous blessings and your presence to celebrate our special moment!

christmas eve party..

blessed christmas!! edited the photos till 2am yesterday night.. now at office blogging.. hee hee..

it was indeed a great christmas party this year.. my aunt prepared games.. a number of games and was fun! i had so much fun and laughter! grandma made alot of items this year.. a huge chicken pie that resembles the don pie! a great peach tart, xiang made some nice eggs with an american recipe with salmon roe! ooo!!! its nice!! Bastian brought a big hamper from carousel with lots of Christmas foodies which includes gingerbread, fruitcake, cookies some chocolates! dad bought a turkey. my uncle bought chicken wings! we had lots of other food! it was great! i was supposed to be on a diet for my rom this friday.. arghz.. i have to eat lesser these 3 days..

eesek is dear dear's fave! and o, did i tell u he love boys? hee..

but he is really smart and cute! aunt belinda was just telling us her little lighting specialist! at such a young age, he can enter the shopping mall and tell his mum which light is not working! and he even tell his mum to tell the auntie to change the light! ha.. it's no coincidence.. my uncle is an electric engineer. the genes must have passed on.. hee..

the 1st game was a japanese game.. we spilt into 2 teams and had to play scissors, paper, stone.. the winner have to grab the paper fan to hit the loser head.. the loser has to use the red basket to cover his head before the winner hit with the paper fan to score 1 point.. we had such fun! my uncle told us the secret or how to cheat the game, that is to grab the paper fan and the red basket so the opponent cant cover the head no matter what! haha..

the fun part was that i cant remember whether i won or lost.. so i didnt cover my head in time or did not grab fast enough the paper fan to hit my opponent, my dear aunt belinda! arghz!

game 2: i always love games that does not require to use much of my brains.. we had to sit in a round circle and throw the 2 dice to make it a double to get a chance to open the present till the next person throws a double.. the difficult part was that we had to wear 2 gloves to open the pressie! and my aunt wrapped many many layers!

xiang managed to throw a double but before she can tear open the present, alfred threw a double! haha.. i managed to open the present 2 times.. and finally, dear dear got it! haha..

then after some games, we sang some songs!

finally, we had the log cake which xiang bought from clarke quay.. it is nicely wrapped.. it taste great but i was too full to have a slice, i had a mouthful from dear dear's plate! great!

our trip to rom office..

yesterday, is our date of collection of our rom certificate to be used on the solemnisation day itself. its so exciting..

we woke up early in the morning to have breakfast at funan the it mall and then head up to rom office.. it was an early morning for us considering we do not have to work but still have to wake up early..

taking the surroundings as we walk up to the office..
haven been there before lah.. pardon for being a mountain tortoise.. hee

look at the crowd! we had to wait 45 mins for our turn..
we took the oath that the information we provided is correct..
the officer is so kind! she allowed us to take pictures while making the oath!

some random shots!

after collecting the certs, dear dear and i head home to for our own gift and card exchange before going to the christmas party at my aunt's place..

kendy's petite egg tarts..

yesterday night.. kendy made petite egg tarts.. she brought this morning to share.. how mini.. how small.. how cute! the taste is great too!!!

but i do not have petite baking tins.. and do not want to keep spending $$ on baking stuff.. sighz.. can i have petite baking tins for christmas? haha..

presenting her petite egg tarts for the small mouths.. like me! hee..

yummy!!

p.s: i made cinnamon rolls for dear dear family.. but no photos because sis took the camera to bkk.. hope she enjoy the shopping! hee..

p.p.s: there was no one home yesterday night except bro, his friend and me.. mum went over to grandma house.. b sis went overseas, xiang at work.. pa went to work at night.. there was a small lizard at night when i was about to sleep.. bro offered to catch for me but it was on the ceiling and im concerned of him dropping the lizard onto my bed, thus went to b bed to sleep instead.. i dun like the bed! it is so hard!! i miss my bed.. this morning, i had to go to my room to get change etc to get to work and i saw the small lizzy again!! as bro is playing computer games overnight, he is awake at 7am! so i got him to kill the lizzy.. my brave bro! thanks!! ~~

babelicious egg tarts..

went to queenstown library with my colleagues last week and gotten some recipes book.. i printed some recipes that i liked.. and as i was on the train going to meet dear dear, i was reading those recipes that i printed.. then it made me so feel like doing the egg tarts..

as egg tarts require different types of flour.. i had to buy flour again.. yes, spend again.. on my savings plan.. i think i spent a substantial amount on baking needs.. the substantial in my context is about $100.. hee..

so went to buy cake flour which is more expensive than normal plain flour.. more = twice the amount!

anyway, was excited to get it done..

p.s something happened to the oven door when bro went to get his duck meat in the oven on sunday night.. which explains why i had to use some weight at the oven door..

anyway, brought some for my colleagues today and they love it! melanda-chan, do you have to keep reminding me about the chocolate cake? hee..

have reserved 2 at home for dear dear to try tonight.. hope he loves it too.. am thinking of getting petite baking tins to make mini egg tarts.. to look more babelicious.. should i? hah..
