sad but lovely memories..

am at work today.. because i do not enjoy sg public holidays.. was just chatting with b sis on msn.. fyi, we chat at home in the mornings, evenings, etc etc and still can talk somemore in msn! haha.. i will miss you when i move out.. seriously, the hair treatment gel, the pimple gel, the make up sponge, n the bits that i can get from u.. hee hee hee..

she told me mum went to see my ah gong.. my maternal ah gong at the columbarium.. mum usually goes there during cny, christmas and some other public holidays.. she called to tell b sis that she told ah gong that im going to rom this december.. though we know he is in a better place but we still do miss him alot.. really alot..

was just telling b sis over msn that ah gong always drive us out on his little toyota everywhere and anywhere.. he likes to wind down all the windows and drive very fast! so fast! that we always got scared and shout in the car to tell him to stop. but he just have fun to see us all gone scared and shouting in the car.. haha.. he likes to bring us to clementi park, seletar parks, macritchie res, sembawang park, east coast to take photos.. walk around.. look at trees insects monkeys etc.. he even brought us to sembawang park to catch crabs! i remember at sembawang parks there are 3 swings and each of one will take one and we would get him to help us push the swing harder to make us go higher.. but he never stop and again we would shout and shout and become so scared.. i remember i always say, "阿公，够了。帮阿B推。。。" o yes, we were his 1st grandchildren and he became a grandfather at 42! that explains why he dotes on us and have so much energy to drive us around..

knowing we love cuttlefish and our mum do not buy for us because it makes our mouth smelly, he brings us to shop and save and buy it everytime and lock in his room to eat it secretly!!

he loves to say, '看谁先叫公公? then we will all fight to call him gong gong!! haha because usually the first will get something.. hee.. he was the one who taught us what is "deng na gi!". i wonder if there is such a word.. but we remember it till now! at least for b sis and me..

every weekends, we will go to his house to stay without fail.. and he would make dinner/ supper for us.. rice dumplings, tuna fish a small tin wrapped in paper packaging and like like to open the top and place the tin over the fire to heat it up.. i never get to see the tuna again.. , hokkien noodles which he got my ah ma to cook..

when we grew older, he would come to jurong for regular dialysis.. he would always call us to go down after his dialysis to have nasi brani.. he loves it! but the lazy and naughty us sometimes will find excuses not to go.. but at times we go too!! he would order so much i remember..

my ah gong and ah ma is one of the most loving couple.. i remember how he would sing, "shou ba chang" and hold my ah ma hands.. he always on those children chinese songs for us in the car.. i still remember them because i hear it so often and is very funny!

ah gong, we miss you and knowing you are in a better place with Jesus praying for us.. we love you though we never told you before..
