my disappointment...

mummy kendy told me about this thank u commuters day thingy.. checked it out n it seems fun.. can participate in groups of 2 or 4.. checked with ali family.. they r soo onz.. even wanted to buy the sbs book etc n drive to all e bus stops..?? haha.. is it necessary, ali papa?? but by the time we realise the closing date to send in our entries was too late.. the closing date was 16 june at 5pm.. so i planned to go down with dear dear on sat to register on the spot n make payment via cash at sph..

it was drizzling on sat when we went down.. when we were at the security.. he told us that the registeration has closed at 1pm.. because there were over whelming response so they had to close the registeration.. we refused to walk away from sph.. then we told the security to give us the no. to call so that we can have a confirmation from the promotions executive to tell us that they have closed the registeration..

initially, e person nv picked up the phone call.. so the secruity tried the radio station, another option to register for the commuters day, however, the guy also told us the same thing.. in fact, he is very nice.. he sounded v.eloquent on the line too..of coz.. he is from the radio station leh.. but he tol d me he is just a part time so he cannot make any decision on that.. he asked if we were at the reception so that he can come down to pass us some premiums.. but i said no. it was a nice act of him but we only wanted to join in the competition..

in the end, the promotions executive told us to email her our particulars so that she can place us in the reserved list.. hopefully some teams withdraw at the last min so we can join..

nevertheless, i thought to myself.. my past events, i hate it when pple do not rsvp n last min want to come.. in the end, i have to keep adjusting my no, worst if i have to make seating arrangements, mr xx cannot sit with ms abc.. always gives me headache.. n when i liaise with sponsors.. i have already commit a no., then i have to call them to change the no. to increase their sponsorships.. so paisay.. no foresight on my part.. now i have to do this to others.. i feel bad.. but the disappointment is beyond description..
