hongkong, a shopping and food paradise..

it all started because dear dear want to take a short break to relax before his new job starts and before our exams.. so we embarked on our journey on 12 April.. since natas travel fair is round the corner and according to my travel consultant friend, mic, he said that we should go natas fair to book our travel package so off we went all excited on the 1st day of natas.. disappointed as it can be.. we went from agents to agents, all flights fully booked.. there is an international business conference thereby many business travellers will be there that week.. but we do not have an alternative date! so we asked about taipei but also no flights.. checked out cx, sq all fully booked not even on waitlist.. ): dear dear is starting work soon and exams will soon be coming.. that night, we met up with the ali family.. that was the 1st time i saw ali-mama.. ali-papa went on about his trip in japan.. we were so disappointed that there were no flights to our 1st trip out.. so that night i was so determined and went on jetstar asia to see if there's any seats.. i searched for hk and managed to get tickets.. so i called dear dear at 2am if he wants to go by jetstar.. guess we were too disappointed and we wanted to go no matter what so we made a booking straight away.. with compliments from my dear dear sub card.. haha.. so convenient..

prior to the trip, we were so excited.. dear dear bought a new luggage, searched online on conversing in cantonese as both of us do not know cantonese.. we only know "peng di" --> cheaper in canto.. haha.. i wrote down the itinerary from the day to day plan, the places of interests to visits and of course the shopping places.. hee

just settled into our room.. gota settle our stomachs

on our way from the ltr station to musuem, we saw this shop called,"pies n tarts".. look at the variety of pies n tarts they have.. they have egg tarts, mik tarts, papaya tarts, tiramisu tarts, blueberry tarts n many mre.. cant remember.. just look at the wide selection.. i grabbed a milk 1 n dear dear ate the tiramisu.. its so delicious!! in the cold weather with the hot tarts!!
